It’s time for the Friday the 13th edition of the EUS Market Wire and hopefully it will keep the trolls and hobgoblins of the insurance world at that a black cat in your office? Spring has sprung (at least here in the south) and the weather is definitely starting to warm up. It also appears that the marketplace is heating up and the competition can be fierce. Holding onto those renewals is a definite challenge with the current market conditions. It is so important to properly evaluate the markets and know which carriers will provide the best terms and conditions. Alternatively, this also opens up new opportunities for all of us. Some of those accounts that have not been marketed effectively over the past couple of years are ripe for the picking and we are more than happy to work with you at offering the best available coverages and pricing. It truly continues to be a great time to go after new business. Our focus has and will be providing the best possible service while presenting a unique marketing perspective. We thoroughly analyze available markets and then gather the vital information to make the best approach. This is essential to providing a successful proposal. In addition, we do not put the file away after the business is written as it is of utmost importance that we do everything in our power to make sure that our service is unequaled.

As the weather warms and construction projects ramp up around the country, we are seeing more and more requests for project specific quotes either for bid purposes or after the bid has been awarded. If you have a contractor that is bidding a job and the client is requiring an environmental insurance coverage, we are more than willing to review the contractual issues. We take pride in being able to provide a quick turnaround with indications which will allow the contractor to include in their bid. We have been able to offer not only policies that provide coverage for the contractor but also wrap up pollution policies that will include coverage for all contractors working on a specific project.
